Intro
In collaboration with Aitana Acevedo, we developed a chair prototype that blends ergonomic comfort with a sleek, modern aesthetic. The design process began with 3D modeling, allowing us to refine proportions and structural integrity before moving into physical prototyping.
The Process
To validate the design, we first created an MDF prototype, enabling us to assess form, dimensions, and overall stability. This step was crucial in identifying necessary adjustments before proceeding to the final build.
Result
The first functional prototype was crafted using CNC machining and precision tools, ensuring accuracy in every component. Wood glue and screws were meticulously applied to reinforce the structure, resulting in a sturdy and well-balanced piece. This hands-on approach allowed us to fine-tune details and prepare the chair for further testing and potential production.
